Who is the course for
You are working in a complex IBM Spectrum Protect environment and have also already attended the IBM Spectrum Protect Implementation course (TS619G). You would like to go deeper and understand how to eliminate performance bottlenecks in your systems and how to narrow down occurring problems.
We address these and other important lessons with you in our 5-day IBM Spectrum Protect Advanced Training.
What you will learn in this course
In addition to multi-server-specific content, we teach you how to use the functionalities - e.g. container storage pools, replication or cloud - and what options they give you compared to classic methods.
As part of disaster preparedness, we go in-depth into protecting and recovering the IBM Spectrum Protect database and storage pools.
The course also covers scripting, performance tuning, and an introduction to IBM Spectrum Protect Plus.
Hands-on labs on all topics will be conducted on three different IBM Spectrum Protect servers, two running Windows and one running Linux, with additional systems added to provide the IBM Cloud Object Storage environment.
