With anomaly detection, datasets are analysed to identify deviations from the norm (pattern recognition). Through the use of AI, deviations in datasets and (attack) patterns can be identified and addressed preventively. One example of this is our cleanroom solution, which uses regular scans and data comparisons to detect and isolate a virus not only on the current machine but thanks to pattern recognition, on all VMs in the backup environment.
