Backing up and restoring EntraID data continues to pose major challenges for companies, as neither Microsoft nor many popular backup providers have yet fully addressed this need. However, identity and access data are business-critical, especially in the area of identity management, and must be reliably protected.
The presentation ‘From attack to recovery: Cloud resilience with EntraID backup’ at the IT Security Web Conference ‘Cyber Security Update’ highlights Rubrik, whose backup solution fully considers EntraID data in the area of identity management.
Backing up and restoring EntraID data and tenants with Rubrik
The presentation highlights current gaps in existing solutions, points out the risks of inadequate backup and presents approaches for comprehensively securing EntraID data and entire tenants. It introduces Rubrik's product, which goes beyond traditional backup mechanisms and also consistently takes identity data into account.
Participants will gain concrete insights into how companies can meet compliance requirements, protect against failure scenarios and sustainably improve the availability of their cloud infrastructures.

Michael Rösch is a senior IT consultant at Empalis Consulting GmbH. He brings over 18 years of experience in backup, IT engineering, implementation and architecture design to his work as a consultant.
Andreas Wagener heads the Data Protection Consulting division at Empalis. He brings over 30 years of experience in IT engineering, implementation, architecture design and project management to his work as a consultant, solution architect and trainer.

At the web conference organised by the two German magazines IT-SICHERHEIT and kes, participants will learn about up to seven software solutions/services in one morning. The morning will begin with an expert keynote speech on the topic of malware. The IT security agenda for the day is currently being finalised. However, you can already make a note of the date and receive an email reminder as soon as the event is open for booking.
