Cloud providers' native security functions are often not enough
Incidents such as the attack on Oracle in March of this year with over six million hacked data records clearly show that cyber attacks are targeting (critical) cloud infrastructures more than ever before.
The attack on Oracle, in which hackers targeted sensitive data in the cloud via security vulnerabilities, affected over 140,000 companies and authorities (sources: Oracle and Oracle).
The unauthorized access took place after 22 January - Oracle only discovered the incident on 20 February. In the meantime, the attackers accessed patient information from several US hospitals using stolen customer access data (see also Oracle and Oracle).
How resilient is your cloud really?
Proactively identifying risks, simplifying protection and being prepared for worst-case scenarios could have helped Oracle. Today, companies must not only be able to react to attacks. In our interactive webinar, together with our partner Rubrik, we will show you how to do this - in a compact, practical and solution-oriented way.
Best practice example in the lab: Rubrik Security Cloud for AWS and Azure
In our free hands-on lab, you will experience first-hand how you can comprehensively protect your AWS and Azure environments with Rubrik Security Cloud - and quickly restore them in the event of an emergency. You will receive:
- Current insights into the threat situation and real-life case studies
- Strategies for increasing cloud resilience - more security, less effort
- Live demos on backing up and restoring your cloud workloads
The Lab contents at a glance
- Protection of AWS workloads: EC2, RDS, EBS
- Protection of Azure workloads: VMs, SQL databases, managed disks
- Restoring complete environments - quickly and reliably
