Proxmox VE

Proxmox VE (Virtual Environment), based on Debian, is an open source virtualisation platform based on QEMU with KVM, which also offers Linux Containers (LXC).  Proxmox VE offers a web interface for administration and the option of combining multiple installations into a cluster. This makes it possible to move virtual machines from host to host, for example to distribute load or shut down a node for maintenance purposes.

Proxmox VE comes with the open source solution Ceph as a distributed file system.

Ceph allows data to be distributed across multiple computers and accessed by multiple computers simultaneously.
