Implement NIS2, maintain business continuity, become more cyber-resilient
The NIS-2 Implementation and Cyber Security Strengthening Act (NIS2UmsuCG) obliges almost all companies in critical service areas of supply and the economy in Germany to implement extensive protective measures, particularly with regard to risk management and maintaining business continuity (read more).
In order to meet the increasing threats in the future, measures that have already been implemented must be reviewed and optimized regularly. Those who plan strategically and develop their security strategy continuously can strengthen cyber resilience sustainably.
More cyber security with a comprehensive backup strategy: cyber resilience is the key
A large proportion of today's cyber attacks target backups. This is only one of the reasons why securing the backup infrastructure is one, if not the central component of an effective security strategy.
In this presentation, participants will learn how to strengthen the cyber resilience of their critical infrastructures with the help of a comprehensive security strategy - especially with regard to the backup strategy - and which components are important for integration.
The various requirements for setting up complex, process-oriented security concepts will be examined in detail.
With VIKING for Backup, the speaker will present an effective and practicable approach. VIKING combines proven strategies, customized solutions and needs-based managed services for IT infrastructures - on premise, hybrid or in the cloud.
