Proxmox VE Support
Veeam is now officially expanding its portfolio to include Proxmox VE support with the following features:
- Immutable Backups
- CBT (Change Block Tracking) support – even for switched off VMs
- Veeam BitLooker – this automatically excludes unused blocks in the backup
- Flexible Storage – with Proxmox, Veeam also offers the option of using all known storage options.
- Restore across all platforms (VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Red Hat Virtualization, Oracle Linux Virtualization) or directly into the Cloud (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud).
Support for MongoDB Backup
Veeam now offers native support for the backup of MongoDB on Linux systems. As with other databases, the restore is performed via a Veeam Explorer specially designed for MongoDB.
Direct to Archive
Veeam App für Splunk
Veeam offers a new Splunk extension. This now offers customers using Splunk the ability to monitor their backup infrastructure directly from their Splunk.
SureBackup Job Improvements - Continuous Schedules
Veeam now offers the ability to create a time window for SureBackup jobs: This offers the possibility to permanently test random VMs in the predetermined time window.
Further improvements
Veeam has also made other small improvements, including improvements to malware detection, the expansion of the Security & Compliance Analyser and official support for vSphere 8.0 U3 - and much more!
