As a former CEO (until early 2020), I have been actively involved in the development of the company -  from the beginnings as "Emprise" in 1996, through the change of name to "Topalis" until the current "Empalis". During this long period I was responsible for several strategic realignments in order to adapt continuously to the dynamics of the market. Since my retirement from the executive board on February 1, 2020, I am still passionately supporting customers and projects with a focus on IBM mainframe, system automation, middleware and system services on a freelance basis in my role as shareholder as well as consultant and head of the "System Services" division.
